Dr. B. Ram Manohar, the author of this book, completed his post-graduation in wildlife Biology in the year 1982. He joined with the Bombay Natural History Society’s Ecological Research Station, Bharatpur Rajasthan as a Junior Field Biologist during 1984-85. His Doctorate Research on Langur Monkeys of Aravalli Hills, Jaipur, continued at the Department of Zoology, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur during 1985-89.
