Venkat Purushotham

The Poet is a Lawyer and Engineer, born and brought up in Bangalore. He completed his schooling in St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School, Bangalore. He has been writing poetry since the age of 14 and has also authored several legal papers on Constitutional Law and Human Rights. His poetic influences are Walt Whitman, Rudyard Kipling, Edgar Allan Poe, Jim Morrison and William Wordsworth. He is also a musician and as a result there is an element of song-writing to his poetry.
