<p style="text-align: justify;">Amar Kant Mishra, a common man outside the relatives of Darbhanga Raj Family, was appointed as a clerk in Darbhanga Raj Head Office in 1940 at the age of 18. The boy had no certificate, at all. When the matter of the appointment of the boy came to the knowledge of HH Dr. Sir Kameswar Singh, HH called the boy and interviewed him. Being pleased with the boy, HH ordered him to be placed as PA to the Mahraja Dhiraja of Darbhanga. Since then, Mr. Mishra served the Maharaja till last breath of the HH. After the death of the Maharaja, Mr. Mishra began his career, completed his Matriculation, Inter, then BA, and finally, graduated his MA in English Literature. His dormant literary talent emerged, and many of his talks were cast on AIR. One of his talks ‘Wonder: that was Mithila’ was his superb article published in the Akashvani Magazine of March 13, 1983. LALAKA NUA (ललका नुआ) published in Mithila Mihir in the Maithili Language was the talk of time. He later wrote The Ruling Dynasty of Mithia which covers the history, socio-economic lifestyle and Philosophy of Mithila the state where Lord Rama was a proud son-in-law.</p>
