The author is a Civil Engineering graduate from IIT Delhi, a premier institute in India. During his college days, he developed a keen interest in fine arts, art appreciation and social sciences and these became his favourite subjects.
The author always had a flair for writing and enjoyed doing so, having written for his school and college magazines, and lately, has also contributed to the press media as a freelance writer. This book, his first ever, comes at the age of 71, many years after his first visit to the USA in 2004.
He always wished to share his experiences with everyone and did not know when this love for sharing took the shape of this book. The United States of America has never failed to fascinate the author, and this book is a matter of personal fulfilment.
Having retired from government service, the author now resides at Mohali, Chandigarh, where he also pursues the common social causes that are very dear to him.
