Having dreamt of becoming an author for years, Junhui Lee was able to learn English when she and her family moved to India in 2012, when she was just nine years old. She had her chance to learn English then, and after reading the Harry Potter series, was determined to become an author. 
The dream was just a dream until she turned thirteen. That was when she met her fourth grade English teacher, who helped her find publishers. Despite failing in her first two attempts to publish her work, she did not lose hope. When Lee wrote her story, The Moonroad, she was exultant to be published. 
After completing one publishing process, she continued to write short stories, poems, and a couple of other novels to keep her passion for writing awake. Talking about being awake, whenever she gets her dreams disturbed by an alarm clock, she only thinks of one thing in her life: her love for writing and the need to be awake!
