Medha Telang

Medha, a student of English literature, graduated from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Her graduation in Law from the Government Law College, Mumbai and legal practice in the High Court of Bombay and also working towards the cause of adoption, did not dampen her literary spirit, which gave birth to Police Encounters. Medha has written a sequel to Police Encounters, her maiden venture, and has two more books to her credit. Presently, she is leading a quiet and happy life with her five grandchildren. She writes poems and short stories in her spare time, dabbles in Haiku, loves to paint on canvas, travels and listens to soothing music, and also keeps up with her Yoga asanas.


Police Encounters, based on anecdotes and experiences narrated to the author by Police Inspector Late Jayant Wagle of the C.I.D., Bombay, during the span of his illustrious career, gives an insight into the life of officers, dedicated and conscientious, working with a mission.
