Dr Jigar Shrimali, MD DM Nephro (Gold Medalist), is working as a consultant nephrologist and transplant physician in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Apart from being actively interested in live-related and cadaveric kidney transplant programs, he is keen on academic programs in which he conducts lectures for resident doctors and physicians and workshops for dialysis technicians, in which he has discussed over 30 topics for dialysis therapies alone.

During these lectures, he realized the requirements of clinicians and technicians in terms of practical as well as medical knowledge of dialysis therapy in detailed but simpler way. This resulted in offering these solutions in The Textbook of Dialysis.
