Kamal Chawla was born in a middle-class family in Agra, Uttar Pradesh on 31st January 1992. He has a great interest in Hindi literature, especially poetry. He completed his graduation from the University of Delhi and post-graduation from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, in Mathematics. A budding poet, he started writing at the age of sixteen. ‘Kar kuch esa…’ is his first effort. This poem advocates for all adage provided to us by our elders although, in the modern world, it requires a lot of effort to understand them. This book is a simple translation of those proverbs, in the poet’s own way.
