Effort has been made to make the book practical oriented for engineers working in power and process plants. The Air Cooled Cooling towers (ACC) being the demand of the day is dealt briefly in reference to design, selection, construction, characteristics, operation and maintenance. Trouble diagnosis and trouble shootings are presented in tabulated form for easy understanding.Water conditioning and control being a critical activity in maintaining high reliability cooling tower operation has been discussed separately.
