This book provides a new perspective on Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o fictions. It looks at the use of history in Ngũgĩ’s fiction. His novels are filled with the spirit of nationalism. Being a postcolonial author, Ngũgĩ aims at decolonizing the minds of the Kenyans by addressing the issues of history and nationalism.
