Environmental Education refers to the organized efforts to teach how natural environments around us function and how human beings can manage their behavior and ecosystems in order to have a sustainable life for the future generations. The term Environmental Education is used to imply formal education within the school system, from primary to tertiary education. But it is a comprehensive term used more broadly to include all the efforts made to educate the public and other audiences, including print materials, websites and electronic media campaigns. Ecology is becoming a very important subject today because it scientifically studies the relationship between the nature and living organisms with their surroundings. It is due to the destruction of the natural resource, deforestation, destroying flora and fauna and disturbing the natural environment for various developmental activities.   Effective environmental education brings about an increased awareness and appreciation of nature. It is only through Environmental education we could establish the relationship between nature and development. Therefore every environmental educator must address and motivate students into action to protect the nature for sustainability of world by preserving its natural resources.
