This book is about a ten-year-old boy who likes to live in his fantasies. He is a daydreamer named Mario. Mario lives in Mumbai, India, with his parents, younger brother Spike, and his grandparents. Mario is loved by his parents. He is very creative and ready for challenges. Spike loves him, looks up to him, and always goes to him for advice. Mario is like other young boys who love to live in their own small fantasy worlds. But the difference with him is that he tries to play out the situation in his dream world, which he calls Lala Land.
