Book Description

Thirukkural Kathaikal (Thirukkural through Stories) is an ambitious project of Parthasarathy Rengaswami, with an objective to present the meaning of every verse of the Tamil moral classic Thirukkural through a short story. The verses are covered in the order in which they are written in the classic. Thus this first volume has 120 stories illustrating the 120 verses in the first 12 chapters of Thirukkural. The story is presented first, followed by the verse it illustrates and its concise meaning in a simple way, in Tamil.
