Have you ever wondered why majority of people dream big and only a small percentage land up achieving it? Why do most dreams just perish? Is it only for a privileged few? In numerous situations/circumstances people have felt the need for small yet significant changes. In most cases, making these tiny yet impactful changes have resulted in transformed relationships, behaviors and the potential to live life at its fullest. There is a constant need ....

How to Use this Book

‘Triggers and Insights’ is your companion for ‘The Shift’ that you would like to make in life! It will trigger a thought, bring in some great insights, give you room for introspection and guide you towards your ‘new self’ to bring about an ‘Inner Shift.’

When you ponder on each ‘Trigger and Insight,’ invest some time, use the knowledge to challenge and introspect on your existing way of life, each quote has the potential to enhance your life experience.

The introspection step gives you a platform to reflect and implement the insights gathered. Make sure to take ample time to answer each question. Remember, knowledge is not power; it is potential power! Knowledge when implemented becomes ‘wisdom’ with experience and that is true power. The introspection step being the bridge between knowledge and wisdom, will show you:

What to stop doing

What to start doing

What to continue doing

‘The New You’ step can be used as an autosuggestion or a support for creative visualization. These statements reflect your ‘new self,’ which is a possibility that exists. You can repeat these statements and visualize the new behaviors multiple times before sleeping. Alternatively, you can record and listen to them to program the subconscious mind for new behaviors and patterns.

Have a happy and a transformed experience!

TRIGGER 1

“Getting angry is not bad; remaining is!”

INSIGHT

“Even after so many years, when I think of that person, my blood boils!”

“It still hurts as if it happened yesterday!”

“I can never forget how that person hurt me!”

“I feel as if I am always carrying the burden of that fight!”

I am not saying that getting angry is okay. We have been told for years that the best way to live life is to be in control of what we feel or at least the way we react. However, until we experience ‘The Buddha State’ where anger cannot exist in our cellular memories, the least that we must do is not hold on to it!

Gautam Buddha once said, “Holding on to anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die!” Holding on to anger or any negative emotion only means we are revising or revisiting the pain. By repeatedly remembering unpleasant memories, we end up giving these negative emotions ‘the Power’ that they may not originally have. We unknowingly make it more active and alive! Forget about resolving, even the state of neutrality is not achieved! In addition to mental stress, revisiting negative emotions constantly secretes excess acid into our system, which impacts our physiology manifesting as health issues. For all we know, our current health issues could also be because of all the activated negative memories and feelings!

The Law of Attraction clearly states that we manifest situations in alignment with the emotions we store and display predominantly. This means that if we hold on to anger, we will only manifest events that make us angrier! Why spoil more things just because one thing did not work!

For e.g. Have you ever noticed instances when, if we get up in the morning in a bad mood, a series of things go bad? At times like these, we find ourselves saying “pata nahi aaj kiska mooh dekh ke utha,” (Whose face did I see in the morning causing me so much bad luck!). It was nobody’s face, but our own emotions!

With this awareness, even if we find ourselves getting angry, irritated or frustrated, we must ‘snap’ out of it. Change our focus, change our physiology or do whatever works to get out of the negative emotion! We must quickly identify and apply techniques that will help us consciously step into an emotion that is positive.

INTROSPECTION

Have you been holding on to a grudge or anger towards a person/multiple people?

Regardless of the event, how is the ‘holding on’ helping you?

What can you do to quickly snap out of negative emotion that you feel?

With the awareness that you have now, what can you focus on to let go and feel free?

What can be your strategy to handle unpleasant events in the future?

Autosuggestions/The New You

“I’m now relaxed even if I think of that person; I’m chilled. It’s my life.”

“I am now at peace with him.”

“I remember the incident, and I have chosen to learn from it.”

“Letting go makes me feel liberated and free to move ahead.”
