PREFACE

While releasing my first book “ THE UNDERRATED LEADER” the love shown to me by all employees of BHEL I was over whelmed with joy and found no words to express my gratitude.

On the day of the release of the book ‘THE UNDERRATED LEADER’ there was also a Maa TV artists function where most famous TV artists participated. Some of my own people asked me to postpone the program of my book release function and told me there would not be much attendance. But my decision was irrevocable. And to my surprise the auditorium was full of people from all walks of life who participated from the beginning till the end of the function. One of the attendees who attended the function suggested me to write a book on Sri M.Visvesvaraya. He said that the younger generation of India is spending most of their time on mobiles and TV sets focusing on film personalities. It is our duty to spread more awareness among the younger generation about the real heroes who spent their entire life for the common good of the society.

Like the saying “a little encouragement can spark a great endeavor.” This has not only prompted me but also motivated me to keep the present generation aware of our National hero Sir M.Visvesvaraya. And the result is this ………………………’Humble book.’

Sir M.Visvesvaraya’s biography is really inspiring for all the people young and old. He was not only an excellent engineer but a great human being. Each one can learn one thing or the other from his life.
