MURDER OF A PRESIDENT:

AN UNTOLD AFRICAN CHRONICLE!

NOVEL

A chorological record of

an Untold African Chronicle.

Initiation

ASSASSINATION OF

MR. ANWAR SADAT,

PRESIDENT OF EGYPT:

October 06, 1981.

President Muḥammad Anwar el-Sādāt of Egypt, Hero of War and Peace, a Nobel Laureate, was assassinated by a rebel army officer on this fateful day. It was in a celebratory military parade.

The killers ran towards the podium, threw grenades, and, from point-blank range, shot at the President with AK 47 Assault Rifles. It took only a few minutes for the ordeal to get over. The killers were all caught, tried, and shot.

The above is recorded history... and now this novel.

This novel intertwines recorded history as above, with imaginary characters and situations, leading to an absorbing fictional climax. Three innocent young Indians living in North Sudan, in an imaginary isolated gold mining site, get caught in the whirlwind of events in neighboring Egypt. Their fate hangs in a balance; the stakes are high for these simple South Indians, coming all the way just to earn a little more than at home.
