The time of midnight often finds us deeply delved into ourselves. This is the time where we are finally able to express our feelings and thoughts, albeit, to ourselves only. This book gives an oppurtunity to some people, who, like you and me, want to convey their feelings to the outer world.

A reader’s elixir, a warrior’s sword,
A lover’s first letter and a pirate’s treasure
Away from the reality, we often get drowned,
A book gives rapture, beyond all measures.
Who says readers don’t idolize? Perhaps, you’ve been in the dark till now,
Have you heard of Christie , Dickens or Brown? Yes, or no?
They are our deities that you don’t know,
They are the only lords to whom we bow.
How can I forget about the colorful seven-lettered word?
No, it’s not ‘Rainbow’, nor ‘Alcohol’,
It’s called ‘Fiction’ which takes us to our dreamland,
You snatch any of them from us, be ready for a brawl.
From Harry’s wand to Frodo’s ring,
From Poirot’s moustache to Sherlock’s hat,
From Wargrave’s stick to the hair of the prince,
From Augustus’s cigarette to Langdon’s watch.
They are not mere props, they are identities,
Identities we immitate, Identities that remain immortal.
Not all treasures come in chests,
Some are just meant to be stacked on shelves,
Books are such possessions, which come as guests,
But, eventually, create a family of themselves.
So, my love for books can’t be expressed in finite stanzas,
They bind us, they absorb us, they keep us hooked,
So, finished reading my poem?
Go, grab a book!

"Humans have an odd habit of playing with words. They mend their statements according to their solace. Dozens of factors are considered while preparing a quote. But, trust me, truth is not one of them."

"When sucesss hits hard, haters hit harder. Remember, ants congregate around something that is sweet, not bitter."

"The moment a ‘cute’ jealousy turns into a ’venomous' insecurity, love eventually dwindles away. What remain, are actually the ashes of an irresistible fire, sparked inisde you by her and extinguished inside her by you."

Nayi Duniya me aankhen kholkar,
Khoobsurat duniya ki jhalak dekh kar.
Dekhe humne masoom sapne,
Nadaan inhi aankhon se apne.
Kholkar do pankh deewane,
Nikle khayalon ki udaan bharne.
