Episode I
The Middle of the Beginning
The Middle of the Beginning
A man wearing a suit and a black hat with a suitcase in his hand gets out of a factory. It’s 1:23 a.m. He gets into a Contessa Classic, specifically a 1990 model. The year is 2018 while the Indo-Pakistan Kashmir feud is in a complex state. The man gets in the car and drives at 16 kmph and then BOOM! The car explodes.
June 28: Two days later, Interpol declares the person in the car was a man named Bolsheviks. He was a member of the Russian mafia or was suspected to be. And the report also said the explosives used were SURiCs 8XY, an unauthorized bomb (except in Germany).
You have to insert it into the speedometer of a vehicle; as soon as the vehicle hits 10 mph (16 kmph), it goes BOOM. Surics 8XY didn’t stand for anything, as we thought. The report stated it was planted by Bolsheviks’ former partner, Vadomir. An international arrest warrant was sent by Interpol for Vadomir. Two weeks later, he gave himself up in Barcelona, Spain. That’s it. He was arrested, got a 25-year life sentence, and was sent to Lompoc Prison (with Russia’s permission, of course; he got into a low security prison because he gave intel about the mafia). Case closed. Vadomir’s family went into exile, and the factory shut down. This wasn’t the end though. Legally the case was closed, but justice hadn’t been served. The past, hidden. The future, unknown. At least for the common man.
