GODLIKE FACE

Lying down on a green meadow,

High atop mountains,

I’m thinking about you.

About your gleaming eyes, the poise in your voice.

Staring at the blue sky above, I’m dreaming about us together.

A cottage in the woods,

Sun rays run over my white sheath dress.

Hair waving in the soothing breeze,

I’m waiting by the porch, and then my eyes illuminate by your sight.

In the woods I see you coming by, your hands reaching for me;

Your skin sparkles so bright,

It’s the day’s sweat that you have shed, for my dreams and for my smile.

I look at you and wonder,

You have been created so fine, what blessed me, to have you as mine.

I caress my hand over your face,
