It's not just mere pieces of writing; it's a journey of love, betrayal, pain, and hatred. Because it is love that betrays; betrayal that pains; pain that imbibes hatred. This book is a collection of poetries and short write-ups about- What does it feel to be in love? What is the pain of being betrayed? And could we really hate the person, the way we used to love? It's all about love, life, and pain...
Life is so strange. It can be so different and difficult at times. We meet so many people in our life, but we could truly connect with very few of them. Or sometimes, you might feel that you have none to connect with at all. Dear readers, I do understand how it feels. But trust me, it is not so; it is never so. Don’t believe only in others to be your close friend; try becoming your own friend. Try loving your own self, and you’ll see one day, the world will love you-- when they’ll see how happy you are, how blessed you feel, and how lovable you can be… just by loving yourself. It feels strange that the advice I give to everyone at my age or more, is so helpful for them but I have never been able to apply them in my own life. Sounds silly, huh?
I had been in love with a person so badly that I was left brutally heartbroken; I could really never forget those days, weeks, or months—I spent crying, depressed. Well, ‘depressed’ is a really heavy word for a girl of my age, and for me, there’s so much more still left to explore in my life, so I must not use that word. Whenever any of my so-called friends cried for their partner, I always used to advised them, and still, I do, “Never love anyone so deeply, that they could hurt you so bad—don’t be dependent on anyone’s moods for your own well being—don’t ever feel like you're nothing alone without them…and yes, never ever starve for love, just wait patiently, love will follow you someday”—and they truly always felt better. There was a thing I had my genuine belief on, after being betrayed twice—‘teenage love is not always your first and last one—never think to build your future based on your so-called teenage love’—if you’re gonna be together, then you will, you don’t really need to build it yourself—just believe in God and the Universe, because I do, my dear!
