"Will you stop it right now?" shouted Benjamin on press who is agitating him with their questions.

"Mr. Ashford, we’re sorry for your son but...

"Don’t be sorry for my son, he’s still alive", said he.

"Mr. Ashford’s response is outrageous to media. His son is reported to be in critical condition by hospital chief."

"Doctor Frank I need the best doctors to be here", he said walking directly to ICU.

"Okay", Said Dr. Frank.

"Ask Chuck to investigate this right now", he said in stern voice. "Yeah Mr. Ashford", he said.

His words struck in his throat seeing his son lying there, covered with white sheets in a pool of blood.

"What’s his condition?" He asked.

"Mr. Ashford... ", stammered Dr. Frank to report his son’s condition.

"Spill it Frank", he shouted.

"He has some fractures and bruises all over the body and his head got hit badly Mr. Ashford. He need to put under observation for 24 hours to know his exact condition", he said.

"I promised my wife that he’ll be okay Mr. Frank, If I don’t return with him she’ll shoot me", he said in low sobs.

"Mr. Ashford, control yourself", said he.

"Dr. Frank, patient’s heart beat is dropping", said a nurse who barged in.

"Hurry up, call Dr. Walls", he said and rushed to ICU.

"Can we keep his ....", Asked Dr. Frank to Dr. Walls who is senior in experience. He is the famous Neuro surgeon in United States. Mr. Benjamin has personally requested him to attend his son’s case.

"Frank, stop this medication at once he said. See the dosage. You should’ve taken care at least being their family doctor. By the way who suggested this?" he Asked.

"By Dr. Waters", replied Frank.

"That junior doctor?" He asked raising the brow. "Somehow, he’s saved but need to wait for the reports", concluded Dr. Walls.

"Thank god he’s back", said Dr. Frank to Dr. Waters.

"Sorry Dr. Frank, I gave him because..."

"Your mistake can kill a person", he said interrupting her." And more over the entire hospital will be doomed if anything happens to him. You saw his father, right?" He said.

"Yeah", she said nodding her head.

"Mr. Benjamin Ashford, can we interrogate your son?" Asked the police.

"Not exactly. The truck which broke in didn’t seem obvious Mr. Ashford. And, we want to get some things clear", he said.

"What...” he asked after a pause, “my son can be interrogated after he recovers. Before that, out from my sight", said Mr. Ashford coldly. Police didn’t talk much, sensing Mr. Ashford’s anger they left

immediately. Before leaving they said they got evidence that he’s with a girl going towards Queens.

"Where’s Chuck?" Screamed Mr. Ashford not knowing what’s happening.

Chapter - 2

"Chuck, you need to be here right now", said Dr. Frank on phone.

"Yeah, I‘m on the way", he replied.

After an hour Chuck came with cover in his hand.

"I will kill you Chuck" said Mr. Ashford grabbing his collar.

"Sorry to be late sir", he said handing over the cover.

"What’s this?" asked Mr. Ashford in irritating tone.
