I have long been thinking of doing something about my knowledge regarding the relationship between the Universe and living beings, about my contribution to the world and human society during my life time. However, I am unable to do anything more substantive than giving my gratitude to them for cherishing me and the living beings in this Earth by singing songs of prayer to the Lord. I have never tried song-writing before this in English language and so I have been trying my best for some time now. Events happening in our daily life have drawn my attention and I have thought over it deeply. Slowly and slowly, I have composed songs through words that have come spontaneously to my mind. These are some of the lyrics I have composed and I hope that someday people will make songs out of it. I shall be honored if I am able to entertain my readers for even a few moments. Lastly, I would like to thank the publishers for their cooperation.

I welcome suggestions from my readers and listeners.

Hi people,

I hope you are doing well. We are living in peaceful times and all the world is a single community today. This is the first time I am trying my hand in poetry at this stage. I have always been intrigued by poetry. I read, I listen, I observe, I experiment and I create. Word is out on the street that poetry is dead, that it is an outdated form of art and people today prefer other forms like cinema or rock music, etc. I am not here to make an argument against it but only to create poems. My lines, the result of a force of passion more than anything else, might not make a lot of sense to many people but I hope people who enjoy reading books will like it. I have tried to use words which are simple and straightforward and also have tried different styles of poetry. I would like to request the readers to not try and find answers in my poems but instead treat it as a form of art rather than a book of knowledge or wisdom. These words and ideas about love, life, romance and life’s precious moments are not universal and are not intended to misguide young minds. This is just a collection of lines meant for art and hopefully people will not be swayed by the contents of this book. I am forever grateful to the people who helped me in creating this book, especially my wife and family.

P.S.: All of my poems and stories are figments of my imagination and has nothing to do with any living person. I take no responsibility for any resemblance in either their names or character. This is written just for the sake of poetry and nothing else.
