Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalSince the detection of the first case of COVID-19, the virus has been wreaking havoc not only among the general public and health care workers but also among the think tanks. A lot of unknown facts about the disease make the situation even more complicated. Although a lot of literature regarding COVID-19 is available on the internet, most are vague and discrete.
In such a situation, A Handbook of Obstetrics and Gynaecology care during pandemic of a novel respiratory virus was written to provide all the current guidelines related to the disease in pregnancy, which will help minimise confusion related to patient care. Various sections starting from basic understanding to the key changes in management in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic have been addressed, according to the current evidence.
