A murderess. A child’s relationship with her father. An indifferent author. An unusual friendship. A couple in love. Writers exploring their creations. The fragrance of a new life; a new hope. A woman trapped in a life she does not want – will the rhythm be hers?

Sayujya Sankar
Sayujya is an aspiring writer and an ardent lover of the written word. She currently resides in Chennai and has published a collection of poetry titled A Firefly in the City.
Her short story “The Silent Wanderer” has featured in an anthology titled When They Spoke. She has always loved teaching. She has taught in two schools – one in Hyderabad and one in Chennai. She has also worked for a short while at Madras Christian College, Chennai. She loved the experiences, especially the interactions she had with her students.
She completed her M. Phil from the University of Hyderabad.
A lover of fantasy fiction and nature, of enchantment mingled with the day-to-day, her stories too, attempt to reflect the magic in our daily lives: the wonder that is both nature as well as humanity.
