In her third book, Vanaja takes readers on a journey to a world of Hindu Mythology. She describes the greatness of Amarakosam, which was written by Amarasinha, a court-poet in the period of King Chandragupta II. It involves all the characters of Hindu Mythological epics.

I read the book “Amarakosam for Beginners Volume 1” authored by T. Vanaja. She has explained each name with great detail. I found it very easy to understand. The work is very much appreciable. Hope She continues to work with the same enthusiasm for the remaining volumes also.

For time immemorial AMARAKOSAM facilitated vedic scholars to comprehend these scriptures meaningfully. Smt. Vanaja’s effort in presenting this treatise in series of volumes will serve as a guide to us. I am sanguine she will accomplish the task fully with divine grace.
