Each chapter also includes a collection of photographs taken by the author. There are 25 cities selected across 25 states in the USA, with one chapter dedicated to each city. For each chapter or city, the author provides a descriptive narrative of a personal experience related to the city. The end of each chapter provides a list of travel information based on the author’s personal choices. The end of chapter list includes, sightseeing tours, shopping, museums, restaurants, views, local beer, and other information. This is not a travel guide, instead it is a collection of personal travel tales, and there is a final chapter with additional travel related in formation, again based on the author’s personal experiences and opinions. The author has been living in New York City, USA for the past 30 years.
The story telling aims to take the reader along for a journey to these destinations. The author aims to enhance the reader’s experience with the over 200 color photographs in the book. This book is a culmination of several years of travel experience.
Biswa Bhowmick
The author has been living in New York City for the past 30 years. He is a full time administrator at Fordham University, currently in the position of Assistant Dean/Associate Director with the Higher Education Opportunity Program. He has also held an adjunct teaching position in the Gabelli Graduate School of Business and has taught Mathematics and Statistics in the MBA program for more than twenty years. The author has earned a BSc in Economics from St Xavier's College, Kolkata India. From Fordham University in New York, USA, the author has earned a MA and PhD in Economics and a MBA in Finance. As an adjunct Associate Professor of Management, on two occasions, he has been voted by the students to be awarded the Dean’s Award for Faculty Excellence in recognition of his classroom teaching. He also has a passion for writing and photography. Over the past two decades, several of his travel related articles and photographs have been published by the newspapers, The Statesman and The Telegraph of Kolkata, India as well as by Jet Wings, the inflight magazine of Jet Airways in India.
