Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThe glimpses of Ashvale shown in ‘His Afflicted Mind’ barely scratches the surface of what the town represents. But Ashvale is much more historic than what we think it is. It holds much more memories and much more nostalgia.
For some, it holds so much pain. But no matter how much you run away from the past, it was bound to come back. And when the past started haunting them as if someone had placed a metallic revolver on their head below the moonlight, their future became uncertain.
I hope you are ready for an adventure with the characters of ‘His Afflicted Mind’ to join with you in this town once again—a town that desperately hides the truth to cover its secrets!
Are you ready to come back to Ashvale?
Prabigyan Aryal
20-year-old Prabigyan Aryal believes that everyone in this world has stories to tell and that we all are storytellers. Before he began bleeding his imagination onto paper, he used to think a lot about people, situations and emotions. His journey of writing began when he was in grade seven after he realized that the world he comes up with can actually be written down in a form of art. He started writing stories ever since.
Aryal’s debut book, His Afflicted Mind, is a narration of how a depressed mind sees life. He wrote his first book as a journal before telling a story, as he was going through the same emotions and feelings he portrayed in the book. However, Aryal wanted Ashvale to be the light that we see during twilight in a town filled with memories—in a town with differences in changes between people, love and death.
