Author Name: Dr. J. Lalu Naik & Dr. KSN Reddy | Format: Paperback | Genre : Educational & Professional | Other Details

People with MetS are twice as likely to die from, and thrice as likely to have a heart attack or stroke compared to people without it. They also have five fold greater risk of developing T2D. Anthropometric parameters such as BMI, WC, WHR and WHtR are useful indicators for predicting incidence of T2D in populations. In this present work we aimed to understand the incidence and these results highlight the importance of weight loss to reduce morbidities associated with MetS.
