Automation has been a part of my profession since 2004 when I started working as a desktop engineer. Technology fascinates me, and it is my keen interest to learn and implement the latest technology. Back in the days of my first job, I wrote simple scripts that allowed users to open multiple files and applications at the same time. I progressed over time writing complex scripts and codes as a part of my different job profiles.
I am a firm believer in the quote, "If there is a way to do it better… find it." Automation allows me to do exactly this. When I save effort, bring efficiency or save cost due to automation, it gives me a sense of achievement. My favourite automation is a chatbot.
The beauty of automation is it will free a lot of time by taking care of repetitive and specialised tasks. This time can be used to learn new skills, better work-life balance and most importantly, it will help humans to be humans and not task-based bots. On the organisational scale, it will enhance economics.
I am a bachelor’s in computer science from Dr C.V. Raman University and a Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering from the University of Mumbai. I am backed by a PG Certificate in Machine Learning and Data Science from the University of Chicago.
An automation idea very dear to me is, creating robots with the sound and face of a deceased loved one.
I was born in Mumbai, and I am a global citizen. I have travelled across the world. I enjoy writing and draw inspiration from listening to successful people.
