Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh Pal"From the Soul to the Stars" is a collection of poems which look at life through a prism casting kaleidoscopic images of emotions in flux. There are poems on love and relationships, of dreams and hopes, of regrets and remembrances, of life in the modern world which culminate when the emotion finds its thought and the thought finds words which are spilled out on paper as poetry. This collection takes you on a journey through a myriad of emotions with a rainbow in your soul and tears in your eyes.
Joy Dewanjee & Shayeree Dutta
A techie by day and a dreamer by night, Joy Dewanjee started
penning down his thoughts about ten years ago when he was
still in his teens. He has dedicated most of his words describing
various shades of love as he has experienced. His penchant to
keenly observe human behaviour to try to guess at another
person’s story has helped enrich his poems with diverse layers
of emotions. Apart from writing, he enjoys photography,
music and travelling.
An avid reader with an addiction to explore the beauty of
life and nature, Shayeree Dutta writes about everything worth
living for in this world. She draws inspiration from her own
metaphorical backyard consisting of the loveliest and the most
prosaic aspects of life. Even with her busy schedule as an IT
professional, she manages to squeeze out time to spend with
her lovely family and to pen down the perspective of life as she
sees it.
The shared admiration for the emotional and technological
aspects of life helped Joy and Shayeree forge a friendship that
led to the creation of “From the Soul to the Stars,” a collection
of poems on love and loss and the other facets of life.
