Yateendra Jain started his career in the field of Information Technology in the early times when computers were not used so widely as it is used today. Earlier, the cost of a desktop PC with a VGA monitor was very high and was not easily affordable. The system was also not so user-friendly and the GUI drove as it is today. The author has seen the changes in the area of Information Technology so closely from Command-based Operating System (known as Command Line Interface or CLI) to today’s Click-based Operating System (i.e., Graphic User Interface or GUI). The author was closely associated with the implementation process of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) based system in different organizations, development of business applications of different sizes, and always kept abreast of new technological development in the area of Information Technology. Right from the beginning, Information Technology has lured the author to keep on learning and explore its new areas. According to the author, learning is a continuous process, and in the case of technology, it requires to be updated for being in the race in today’s time when cities have become a smart city, television has become smart TV and telephone has become a smartphone. Then we should also be smart enough and updated to be successful and to achieve our desired goal in life. All the best!
