The author is a serving army officer having donned the uniform for more than 25 years. He did his schooling in the East of India, graduated from erstwhile ‘Oxford of the East’ in Central India and finally, earned his spurs along the borders in the West of India.
As an undergraduate, he was the recipient of Governor’s gold medal for Best Cadet in NCC and was selected to represent India under International Youth Exchange Programme. The officer has served as a United Nations Military Observer in the Democratic Republic of Congo and has been awarded for his meritorious service.
The officer is a double MSc as well as a MBA degree holder. He is a certified NLP Practitioner and is ‘Art of Living’ course qualified. His intellectual mantra is ‘Sam Bhav’ (Stoic) and ‘Doing things correctly the first time’ is his approach to life.
Colonel Von is happily married and is blessed with two children.
His profession triples his happiness, golf doubles his passion for life and talking on parenting issues singles him out.
