Dr. S. Subramani works as an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology and Social Work at Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, India. He has 15 years of teaching experience in both UG and PG levels. He has specialized in Environmental Sociology and Rural Sociology. The author has published more than 35 research articles in both national and international journals and presented more than 30 papers in both national and international conferences. He has successfully guided one Ph.D., currently supervising 4 Ph.D. researchers and also supervised 4 M. Phil. researchers. He is a lifetime member of the Indian Sociological Society, New Delhi.
