Anju Handa
Mrs Anju Handa is an educationist, philanthropist, social reformer, and woman with multiple talents. She rose to excellence through her grit and determination, rising over the challenges of life and proving right what is said of life – that it gives a test first and lesson afterwards. She always believed that women had a bigger role in creating an egalitarian society full of compassion, love and morality. The uneasiness in her led to the creation of ‘Sheconnects’ – a collaborative, all-women platform that promotes gender equality and makes women realise their own hidden strengths and potential. The idea was to bring many different women under one umbrella, creating a network and sharing their ideas and knowledge by connecting them globally through seminars and workshops. Not only does she think about women, she believes that there is a need to have platforms for men too, as they need support, guidance and motivation to excel in their chosen fields. She started an all-men platform, 'Heconnects’. Mrs Anju Handa firmly believes and advocates the fact that men and women complement and naturally support each other. Together they can create a beautiful world for generations to come.
