The author hails from Allahabad and had her education from Kanpur, Delhi and Guwahati. While having her college education in Guwahati she had started writing poems some of which had got her prizes in college and university level. She is a very sensitive lady and observes her surroundings deeply and has tried to express her views through her poems. These days she spends most of the time either in writing poems or in gardening, two of her passions. She also believes that life should be full of celebrations. Therefore she tries to enjoy life fully as it comes keeping aside her day to day problems. She tries to make all her relationships strong and happy as she believes that true happiness can only be derived from one’s true and strong relationship with near and dear one’s. She has very nicely captured these sentiments in her poems. It is hoped that in future she will continue to write poems and all of us will be able to see the developments in the society through those poems.
