Rakhi Anand was born in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, and was educated in Muzaffarpur and Patna. She has had a passion for writing from her childhood days. Her articles and poems were published in ‘The Times of India’ a couple of times when she was in school. After completing her degree in Psychology, she started her career with IBM Daksh in the year 2003. She also got international assignments while she was working with IBM and stayed in Manila, Philippines from 2005 to 2007. She quit her international career in 2007 to settle down with her husband, who is an Indian Army Personnel. She last held the designation of Assistant Manager, Operations in IBM Daksh. She has a six year old son.
