Shalini Mandhyan, a Post Graduate in English Literature, hails from North India and has been in the teaching profession for over a decade. ‘Messiah-A woman’s quest...’ is her very first book in which she has compiled poems with a fascinating blend of feminism and love. Shalini started writing since she joined school and nurtures a deep concern for humanity and a woman’s expectations in life. She derives inspiration from the elements of nature and considers them to be the driving forces to gain some strength and sanity.
Her poems inspire and express a deep respect towards the daily struggles of a woman who is all set to break free from the chains of being possessed and dictated by others. Her maiden venture into the world of writing prompts towards more such promising compilations. She is currently working as an English teacher in a reputed school in Delhi and is extremely satisfied with her job.
