Rhythm Kapoor curated this collection of poems, over the course of three years, with the intention of capturing the true essence of her authentic self. Her writing has been an integral part of her development and this book is a wonderful opportunity to share the emotions of her journey. Kapoor’s poetry explores topics such as heartbreak, rape, depression, sexual exploration, self-love, romance, and travelling. Her writing exemplifies her wild and raw nature as she takes her readers to the darkest and most vulnerable moments of her life.
Rhythm Kapoor
Rhythm Kapoor is an aspiring writer born in Amritsar. When she was 16 years old, her family moved to West Bengal where she spent the majority of her teenage years studying in Calcutta until moving to the United States for work. After traveling to the United States, Kapoor has allocated ample time to roving around the world in search of inspiration and expressive freedom. Her thirst for knowledge and excitement fuels her infectiously effervescent personality, which has filled her travels with deep relationships and life-long friendships. Kapoor believes that truth through openness is the key to true healing and hopes that sharing real hardships and talking about personal experiences, which most people keep private, will make it easier for others to let people in and express their true self in an effort to eradicate shame and break down taboos.
