Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThe 4 corners you encounter the most are the ones in your head.
These poems are my ode to the pieces of wallpaper, ceiling, wood and cement
that I’ve stolen from the minds of countless people I’ve known over the past 4 years,
while trying to become familiar with the corners in my own head.
Amaarah
Amaarah Marikar is a 21 year old Medical student from Chennai. The epiphany that everyone, whether big or small, young or old, rich or poor, feels their own versions of the primitive heartbreak, loneliness, loss, power propelled her to write about experiencing these feelings. She tries to evade the physiological explanations that come from Medicine, to try and relay that, sometimes, emotions go beyond what is understood. This is her first book, written in a time of uncertainty during the pandemic when she found that mental health crumbles just as easily, or sometimes, more so than your physical health.
