Nav believes that her people are inferior and desperately wishes that she had been born a Prod. When given the opportunity to become one, she eagerly grabs it. However, Nav soon realises that there are grave consequences to not being satisfied with her life. One wrong choice and she could be ruined forever.
Raden, on the other hand, was content until his true identity was discovered. Forced to leave his friends and family behind, he slowly starts to realise that his world isn’t as flawless as he thought it was. Snigdha Ramkumar is a graduate student in her early twenties, who gets most of her writing done when she has other work to finish. Having spent her formative years in the UK, she enjoys the finer things in life—like large bags of salt-and-vinegar crisps. Prey of the Chance is her debut novel, where she draws on her experience and interest in psychology, data science, social justice, and the Sims.
