Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalRainbow is calling to be in love when dreams no longer remain as dreams but take the shape of reality in thought and action. The book is an anthology of romantic stories depicting emotions that is the core of human relationships. There is a story of the fighting spirit of a girl who is the victim of child marriage and how she gains the love and support of a kind-hearted soul. A man’s confession of love to a woman after forty years who he loved since childhood. A tale of a transgender who is trying to carve a niche in society despite betrayal and social stigma. Adolescent love is reflected in another one. The meeting of two souls in pain against the backdrop of Nagaland is yet another effort to reflect on sublime love.Romance is not always love between two individuals but it could be with one’s penchant for the fulfilment of an incipient dream. Survival to keep the love alive is an effort to justify love in the true sense of the term.
