Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThis story tells the reader the process of moving from dreams to realisation through everyday conversations and situations between Ruhi (a curious strong-willed and ambitious child) and her mother. It shows how her mother patiently and deftly encourages her to use her imagination towards getting what she wants.
There is something in this story for every individual who does not question the desires of the heart and is open to receiving the surprises life has to offer.
Reshma Bachwani
Reshma is a qualitative researcher and has been a story gatherer for over 20 years. Trained as a hypnotherapist, she loves teaching her 7 year old - how to work with the mind. This is her first attempt at story telling.
She believes that 'mind-work' is often restricted to either therapists or spiritual gurus though it is a lifeskill every individual must have. That is also the inspiration behind this story.
About the illustrator Anaahat Paritosh (aka Ruhi) is a creative child who in her own words has ‘restless hands’ that love to keep creating – writing, doodling,
painting, knitting, weaving, stitching and if nothing else messing around with whatever she can gets her hands on.
