Mathew Panthanalil Thomas
Mathew Panthanalil Thomas was born in God’s own country. Groomed by nature, he picked up the rhythm of the day and the melody of the evening, unique to his village, Kangazha. A man in search of man, he sees God above religion and Christ above the church.
Mathew graduated from CMS College, Kottayam; received his Master’s degree in English from Bangalore University and MPhil from CIEFL, Hyderabad. Teaching has been a passion with him and in recognition of his services, the Government of Karnataka appointed him as a member of the Text Book Committee for the Second PU English Course Book, Ennoble and the Work Book, Enable. Deccan Herald and Y’s Men International have published some of his stories.
Mathew lives in Bangalore with his wife, Suprabha Bai Varma of Kilimanoor Palace.
