Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalEvery morning we get up with a positive attitude, but as soon as we catch hold of the newspaper we get surrounded by negativities, horrors, stigmas such as rapes, caste discrimination, honor killings, glass ceiling biases, information about failed justice; etc., etc., all these daily hassles of our society create a ruckus within our lives, in our moods, our thoughts and hence to liberate oneself from all this, we need to look for sources within ourselves, that will help us uplift ourselves from these mishappenings, therefore all of us should focus on our passions and should work towards achieving them. It’s our life and we should live it on our own terms, after all we are the future of our country; if we won’t be confident of ourselves no one else would ever be.
Manpreet Ola
She was born in a small town in Rajasthan, there were not many schools in the town, thus throughout her life, she had been a boarder, and this has taught her so much about life, it has made her more acceptable of the differences with others, more independent, bold and to learn the value of relationships. After finishing her studies from Delhi University, currently she is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and is a licensed Clinical Psychologist; she has also published research papers in Psychology in various journals. Despite of her strong background in Psychology, the society and the stigmas related to it, have always affected her and pushed her to raise a voice against it thus she always had a zest in her to write about it and to try and become the voice for those people who aren’t able to express themselves. She tries to create awareness and stay in touch with her readers through her blogs, with her poetry and writing related to contemporary social issues.
