Anoushka Saha is a twelve year old, Indian Poetess. She wrote her book in a quaint corner of her house. Her room was painted pink as per her choice and she would sit at her table every morning to write, next to the windows with the sun streaming in. Her room was full of gadgets; a laptop, a phone, an iPad all working at the same time. Her dog would sit under her chair patiently waiting for attention. She wouldn’t allow anyone else in her room, which would leave her room in a constant mess. Her room was her private creative space, the birthplace of Anoushka’s wonderful children’s poems. Anoushka’s poems were inspired by her own experiences and her sharp memory to remember the minutest details of every event. Part of her daily routine is to cycle or skate through the park observing nature keenly. She has travelled extensively that has sensitized her to the various nuances of life across the world. She treasures all the relationships in her life and owes her value-system to them.
