‘The Awakening’ is a book of poems that takes us on a journey of our real self. It’s a journey of facing our personal struggles, fears, heart-breaks and ups and downs of life with courage and determination! Whether it is - ‘A Stranger’, ‘A Warrior’, ‘Hero’ or; ‘The Beloved’, ‘Sufi’ and ‘Angel’ – these poems portray that all these characters co-exist within us. When we go deep inside us, we find that there is more to us than just being mortal beings.
And finally, when the Awakening takes place, the real-self becomes an eternal, invincible flame.
Venus
Venus is an Indian poet based out of Mumbai. She loves to paint and write poetry. Some of her poems have been published in newspapers and magazines. Few years back, when she had stopped writing because of her busy life; she got a vision in her dreams asking her to continue writing, as it was her spiritual mission on earth.
