Opal Starling is a young graphic designer living in New York. She looks after her ailing twin sister Emerald. Due to a painful past, Opal fiercely maintains a low profile and strongly opposes love and relationships. A shocking discovery leads to the arrest of Opal Starling, and there’s only one lawyer who can save her from an impending conviction.

Mimi Sen

Mimi Sen, born in 1975, was brought up solely by her Mother Sumedha Sen along with her sister Ayesha in Kolkata. Mimi went to London College of Fashion to strengthen her creative instincts after completing a post-graduation course in Fashion Design from Wigan Delhi. After working as assistant professor in various colleges, in 2013, she took up freelance designing for export houses, to pursue her desire to write. Having widely travelled and being a voracious reader, Mimi says, “I am totally in awe of Sidney Sheldon, Hitchcock, Stanley Gardner and Robin Cook. Their influences flow from my mind to my keyboard.” Mimi lives with her mother in Gurgaon.
