Dr Ramar Veluchamy

Ramar Veluchamy is a cynosure of the student community. He completed his PhD at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. He did his MBA in PSG College of Technology. He served as Assistant Professor in SRM University for three years. He developed Students’ Talent Management Theory. He started his lab to conduct researches on “Students Talent Management in Creating Student Superstars” to explore the possibilities of students to achieve their dream careers. His Abdul Kalamian spirit guided him to form novel student clubs Student CEOs Club, Research Club, Chennai Cinema Club, Study Abroad Club, and Student Superstars Dream University. He did training programs in more than 100 educational institutions. He proposed educational institutions to establish Talent management department to nurture and develop young minds to become what they want to be in both academic and non-academic. He presented research paper on “Future Proofing Higher Education: Career Competencies of Generation Z Students” at Indian Institute of Management, Indore. He presented his thesis on Students Talent Management in Creating Student Superstars at University of Malaya in 2019.  He received Gold medal for his research presentation on “Examining the Relationship between Career Competencies and Calling, Career Adaptability, Problem Solving Inventory”.  His research paper on “Unveiling Talents of Student CEOs in Creating Student Superstars” was selected as the best paper in the conference ICCSET in Bangkok. He received Gold Medal for “Effectiveness of Using WhatsApp to Manage Talents in Creating Student Superstars” in Research Day 2016 at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. He published 11 papers on Students Talent Management in Scopus indexed journals in the year 2016.
