RJ Puru (Purusharth Jhingan)
Puru started early; it’s been a roller-coaster ride since then. He was 18 when he was on the front desk of the billing counter of a hospital, making bills.
He followed his heart that loved voicing, writing and singing and auditioned for the Community Radio the consecutive year, at 19.
And then, he was voicing and talking to the beautiful hills of Dehradun, his hometown, for 2 years. He auditioned for the biggest radio brand in the country.
Lucky for him, after an internship, he got the job as a radio jockey and started hosting radio shows. He kept experimenting with voicing, dubbing, jingle singing and writing and also kept travelling from one city to another for work.
Poetry became his expression with time, as it breaks, heals, rejoices and blends with life experiences.
As a part of his assignment, in the 10th year of his radio service, he wrote some poetry for the audience. Then, he filtered around 25 pieces for his first collection of poetry, The Stars Under His Chin.
