The Unfinished Masterpiece is a novel which can be classified as a thriller. At the sametime, it points a finger at an atrocity committed in our society. The novel takes us on a week-long journey with Jershid, who is trying to locate his missing father, a talented artist.
The novel also opens our eyes to the cruel abuse which is inflicted upon the girls of our land. It is a quest to find the inner layers of a village in Tamil Nadu by discerning the spirit behind an artist's art, his relationships with people whom he meets in the village, the bodies of girls which float atop the pond and the its impact on the artist's mind. Anju has made good use of the strange land  and its customs and thereby evokes suspense in the minds of the readers. The beautiful Tamil Nadu landscape with its oral traditions comes alive in Anju's narration.             - Madhupal

Born on November 24, 1984 in Palakkad district. After graduating with a degree in Malayalam Literature and a B.Ed., she holds a Master of Social Work degree and is working as business consultant. C.E.O. of Lettersbay Consultancy.

Dr. Nithya Mariam John is Assistant Professor, Department of English, Bishop Chulaparambil Memorial (BCM) College, Kottayam. She is a poet and translator who has published three short collections of poems- Bleats and Roars (2014), Ruminations and Reflections: A Pinch of Poetry & Perspectives (2020) and Poetry Soup (2021). She has edited an anthology of poems Pen-ink.
